A School Yard with Grass is a Happier Place to Learn and Grow

Big kudos goes out to Mr. Paul McGuire who is doing all he can to improve the grounds at St. Anthony’s School in Ottawa.

When you think of great places for kids to play, you don’t think “asphalt parking lots”. In the “olden days”, most kids who went outside to play headed straight for the grassy surfaces. They were more inviting and don’t scrape your knees and arms up when you fall down.

Grass and other organic matter also doesn’t absorb heat and become so hot you could fry an egg on its surface.

More and more studies are proving our youth need to return to a more natural environment.

Good luck Mr. McGuire, feel free to contact me for assistance!
