One Small Hole – Many Big Problems!

by Ernie Cecchetto on August 12, 2015

I had a meeting today with Dr. Bruce Firestone…he had some very supportive and complimentary words regarding the Roof Maintenance Solutions approach. He left me with the following quote that sums up RMS’s message and I thought I’d pass it on to the network.

“A farmer once told me, ‘If you want to destroy a barn, cut an eighteen-inch-square hole in the roof. Then stand back,’” architect Chris Riddle, Amherst, Massachusetts, taken from The World Without Us, Thomas Dunne Books, Alan Weisman, 2007

You may not have an eighteen-inch hole in your roof, however, when you add up the total square inches of all the fish mouths, open laps / seams, breaches in the caulking, cracks / voids in the mastic etc…I bet you’re pretty darn close!

A little maintenance goes a long way…
